So, you’ve stumbled across OGW — not just another Minecraft server, but one with big plans, wild mechanics, and a healthy dose of chaos. While we’re still building the blocks (pun intended), here’s a peek behind the scenes of what’s coming. Spoiler alert: it’s a lot.
? Hardcore Mode: Because Peace Was Never an Option
OGW is going hardcore. No second chances. Bring your A-game or bring tissues. That’s right — survival here isn’t just about punching trees. It’s about smart decisions, teamwork, and probably screaming into your microphone.
?️ RPG System: Class Is in Session
We’re building a fully custom RPG class system:
- Want to be a sneaky rogue with a dagger? ✅
- Or a hulking tank with bad jokes and bigger armor? ✅
Each class will come with unique mechanics that affect how you fight, survive, and interact with the world.
And yes, there’s a skill tree. Because nothing screams RPG like obsessively unlocking 1% crit chance.
? In-Game Economy & Shops: Cha-Ching!
What’s an RPG without some good ol’ capitalism?
- We’re designing both a player market and an admin shop to support trade, crafting, and your inevitable addiction to shiny items.
- Own OGW-Coin – start mining
- Our economy will reward effort and smarts. No pay-to-win nonsense here.
? Quests: Do This, Get That (And Have Fun)
- A starter quest to guide newcomers through their first steps.
- Repeatable quests for those who just can’t get enough XP and lore.
- Maybe even a secret side quest involving a chicken named Bob. We’ll see.
? Core Features Being Built Right Now
- Chat moderation, because we love free speech — just not that kind of free speech.
- Land protection (with World Protector) to keep griefers at bay.
- Ranks and punishment system with a whole jail dungeon concept. Think “crime and punishment,” but with more lava.
⚔️ Combat & Events: Time to Fight, Time to Shine
We’re brewing up all sorts of arenas and game modes:
- PvE Arena: Survive waves of mobs and prove you’re not just lucky.
- Deadly PvP Arena: One life. One winner. No whining.
- Parkour Arena: For those who like jumping around for no reason.
- Castle Siege (Team PvP): Strategy, fireballs, and lots of shouting.
- BedWars and SkyBlock: Because we know you want them.
- Fishing Competitions: Yes. We made fishing competitive. Deal with it.
?️ Locations (a.k.a. Places You’ll Die or Get Rich)
- OGW Warp: Your hub. Your home. Your cozy spawn point.
- Casino: Because Minecraft needed blackjack, obviously.
- PvE & PvP Arenas
- Parkour Arena: Leap of faith, anyone?
- Beacon Village: Mysterious, scenic, and probably cursed.
- Fishing Village: Chill vibes only (until the tournament starts).
- Railroad: We don’t know why either, but it’s cool.
- Dungeons:
- Temple of Giants
- The Prison Dungeon
- Pirate Ship Dungeon — ARRR!
? Why This Roadmap Exists
Because we want to build something worth your time — a world that feels alive, fun, and just a little bit dangerous. This roadmap is our blueprint. Some features are already in testing, others are in development, and a few are just weird ideas we had at 2AM (looking at you, competitive fishing).
