Level Up: The OGW RPG System

More Than Just Minecraft

OGW has introduced a fully developed RPG system that transforms the survival experience into a true adventure. You’re no longer just a player — you’re a hero with a unique story, personal growth, and your own playstyle. Every decision matters, and your character’s path is alive, flexible, and truly yours.

Choose Your Path: Warrior, Rogue, Archer

Your journey begins by picking one of three combat archetypes:

  • Warrior — strength, heavy armor, and close combat
  • Rogue — speed, evasion, and stealth
  • Archer — range, precision, and critical hits

These archetypes are the foundation of your playstyle. You can mix and match them, build hybrids, or commit fully to a single path. Over the course of 25 levels, you’ll need to carefully distribute your skill points to emphasize and refine your unique approach to combat.

19 Unique Classes

We’ve designed 19 unique classes, each with distinct traits, strengths, and weaknesses. For example:

  • Berserker enters a rage state, greatly boosting damage, but becomes vulnerable afterward
  • Assassin can turn invisible and strike from the shadows
  • Sharpshooter gains critical bonuses while standing still

Every class demands a different strategy. These are not just sets of skills — they’re playstyles to be mastered. We’ll explore each class in more detail in upcoming blog posts.

The Skill Tree — A Balance of Strength, Speed, and Strategy

In our system, the skill tree reflects the natural power of each combat style. Warriors are tough, resilient, able to endure massive damage and stay on their feet, relying on armor, control, and sheer survivability. Their presence on the front lines is like a wall the enemy crashes into. Rogues embody speed, agility, and precision. They strike where no one expects, dodge incoming blows, and turn every opportunity into a critical hit. Their strength lies in reflexes and tempo.

Archers are the strategists of the battlefield. They keep their distance, controlling space through arrows, traps, and slow effects. Their attacks are accurate, and their movements deliberate. They prevent enemies from getting close and disrupt their plans before the fight even begins.
Each style has its own advantages — and it’s up to you to find the combination that matches your vision of a hero.

Unique Abilities — A New Combat Experience

Most classes include unique abilities that completely reshape combat:

  • Berserker — aggressive burst followed by vulnerability
  • Assassin — vanish and ambush tactics
  • Sharpshooter — excels in stillness with critical power

These aren’t just perks — they define how you fight. They add tactical depth and help you truly master your chosen path.

Critical System — Reimagined

We’ve completely rebuilt the critical hit system. Now, your critical chance and damage depend on your skills and class — not luck or random gear bonuses.

Want frequent but lighter crits? Invest in critical chance. Prefer rare, devastating strikes? Scale your crit damage. This system lets you plan and optimize your build — not just rely on chance.

Progression — From Newbie to Legend

Leveling isn’t just about increasing numbers — it’s about evolving your entire playstyle. As you grow, you gain access to new weapons, armor types, and powerful abilities that drastically affect your performance in battle. Every level brings meaningful choices: unlock a defensive stance, a devastating combo, or master a new weapon class.

You’ll begin your journey with modest gear and limited options, but through effort and experience, you’ll transform into a fearsome warrior capable of enduring brutal encounters and leading assaults. Your growth is visible not only in your stats, but in your stance, movement, and sheer battlefield presence.
